My dream is to help you bring out your best you. As an orthodontist, I believe it all starts with a smile you’ll be proud to share. A smile that makes you light up inside when you look in the mirror. A smile that inspires you to live your best life in every way.
I know that’s a big dream, but I really believe in the power of a smile to change lives. I’ve seen it happen over and over again. And I have a passion for making smile transformation accessible and available to all because I believe everyone deserves a smile they want to share with the world.

Our Story
EDUCATION
Dr. Sana Pasha Augustus (affectionately known as Dr. SPA) was raised in Silver Spring, Maryland and attended Cresthaven Elementary, Francis Scott Key Middle and Springbrook High School. She is a proud HBCU alumna, graduating from Clark Atlanta University and Howard University College of Dentistry. Upon earning her dental degree, Dr. SPA received several awards for her academic achievements and leadership abilities and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Dental Honor Society.
CAREER
Soon after completing her orthodontic residency, Dr. SPA served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthodontics at Howard University College of Dentistry for several years while working as an associate in private practice. A champion of organized dentistry, Dr. SPA holds membership in various professional organizations including the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. She is also the President-Elect of the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists and has served on the DC Dental Society Foundation Board and is a former Vice President of the Robert T. Freeman Dental Society.
LIFE
Dr. SPA is heavily involved in her community and is a member of the Jack and Jill Montgomery County Maryland Chapter, Junior League of Washington, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She also volunteers with local organizations such as A Wider Circle.
Aside from orthodontic practice and volunteering, Dr. SPA enjoys, singing, hiking/walking and spending time with her husband and two children.
